MAC/VAL was our museum today, its outside the city limits in an impoverish area of town. The goal behind the museum is to help educate the residents of that area to see 'non' traditional art and hope that is sparks a fire for them to start creating their own art. The museum was purposefully built in that area with that mission in mind.
