Lazy Sunday in Paris

Today was a lazy Sunday in Paris, I woke up at a decent time after getting home after midnight from the Vaux-le-Vicomte Chateau.  It was so beautiful seeing the grounds, gardens and house lit up with candle light; it really places you back in time when the French, or any aristocrat would throw lavish parties in the 1600's.  I felt as though I should have been dressed in period costumes and dined on fine French foods while admiring the grounds.

Anyway, so after getting myself together this morning I met up with my "group", 3 other girls that are doing a presentation with me on the Musee Quai du Branly.  We laid out a game plan for attacking the large multi-cultural museum and set to work, my section is Oceanic.  Ann, our prof. chose the 4 of use to do this anthropological museum because we are either doubling majoring in Antro or minoring in it.  We set off individually for our 'parts' and regrouped after 90 mins.

To 'reward' the girls for devoting one of the few days off to school work I took them to Angelina's on Rue d' Rivoli; a turn of the century tea house.  They are known for their amazing hot chocolate, shout out to SYBIL H. for the heads up, Thanks SYBIL H!!  I am taking mind blowing hot chocolate.  This hot chocolate was rich, but not over powering, smooth as silk, and the most delicious hot chocolate I have ever had.  Angelina's is known for their hot chocolate and sweet pastries.  The four of us enjoyed our liquid gold and forgot for a moment that we were Americans in Paris, we were Parisians enjoying an afternoon.
