Today we went to the the building where Napoleon is buried. It's dome is coated with gold plate. His body is encased in 7 different sarcophagi all made of different metals. After we went through the courtyard and the manicured gardens we approached Pont Alexander (the Alexander Bridge) its signifies the "coming to terms" so to speak between the French and the Russians. One side represents France and the other Russia. We saw an exhibit for Redon and an installation of Kapoor at the Grand Palais.
We had lunch in a small cafe down the road from the Arch d'Triumph and people watched for a while.
I am really enjoying my time here in Paris. I do not feel out of place and I can navigate the metro/RER like a pro.
