Ok, I know I don't usually blog twice in one day but, ....I had to. This afternoon after returning from the Gard du Nord ( Paris's North Railroad station) to buy a ticket on the Thalys from Paris back to Schipol, Netherlands when my study abroad trip is over I popped up out of the RER B to find myself in the middle of a Gay Pride Parade! So what did I do? I took tons of photos and video! I was hugged on by straights and gays alike, danced with, shot at with super soakers, and kissed by 2 gay men! I had a blast, of course it helps that I LOVE techno music and that is what was blaring from all the 'floats' going down Rue St. Michel.
The parade was 3 hours long and I went thought a whole battery on my camera.
Its timing could not be any more perfect, since I read this morning that New York legalized gay marriage. It's about time.
I am not going to post the video, it takes to long on dodgy internet; I will when I get home.
